Strathcona County Library enriches lives, promotes community engagement, sparks the imagination, and empowers residents to build skills and knowledge. Celebrating over 45 years of service, the library offers resources, services and programs for all ages from a central facility in Sherwood Park and a Bookmobile that makes fourteen regular weekly stops throughout the County’s rural communities.
Visitors to the central library will find a mix of quiet study areas, dynamic family areas, computer stations, meeting spaces, and cozy seating for anyone to use when curling up with a good book or magazine. Library spaces are universally accessible, with wide aisles, an elevator and washrooms that are wheelchair-friendly. Amenities like our in-house
coffee shop will encourage you to settle in and stay a while.
